A photograph of a black chalk drawing by Raphael (c.1501-02) now in the Musée des Beaux-Arts, Lille (inv. no.488). The drawing is a preparatory study for the head of St Jerome in the 'Virgin and Child with Saints Jerome and Francis' by Raphael now in the Gemäldegalerie, Berlin (inv. no.145).
