A photograph of a black chalk drawing by Raphael (c.1501-02) now in the Musée des Beaux-Arts, Lille (inv. no.488). The drawing is a preparatory study for the head of St Jerome in the 'Virgin and Child with Saints Jerome and Francis' by Raphael now in the Gemäldegalerie, Berlin (inv. no.145). See RCIN 850640 for a photograph of the Berlin painting.
