A photograph of a drawing by Raphael (c.1509) now in the Musée des Beaux-Arts, Lille (inv. no.Pl 479).

The study of the stooping figure shown in profile to right connects with one of the pupils of Euclid in the right foreground of Raphael's 'School of Athens', painted in c.1509-10 in the Stanza della Segnatura in the Vatican.
