Photograph of the painting 'The Sands at Honfleur' (RCIN 405025). The painting depicts the beach at Honfleur, Normandy at low tide. In the foreground there are two women crouching by a small boat. There is a ship docked in the background.
Photograph is from a folder of photographs of paintings and artworks displayed in Prince Albert's (1819-61) rooms. This painting was displayed in Prince Albert's dressing room, on the south side. The painting was acquired by Prince Albert in 1841.
