Photograph of a French cabinet carved from walnut wood. Winged sphinxes support the body of the cabinet and in the centre of the pediment at the top of the cabinet is a representation of David holding the head of Goliath. The cabinet is photographed in a room with a stone mantelpiece in the left of the background.

These pieces formed part of the M Soulages collection that were exhibited at the Museum of Ornamental Art in Marlborough House in December 1856.
