Photograph of a half-length portrait of an unidentified male figure. The sitter faces three-quarters to the right and looks at the viewer. He has a long beard and wears a dark jerkin with a broad ruff as well as a head-hugging cap.
At the time of the photograph, the painting attributed to George Jamesone (c.1590-1644) and was in the collection of Archdeacon F. Bisset, Lessendrum, Aberdeenshire.
