Photograph of a drawing by Paul Delaroche, created in 1853. The work depicts the Christ's arrest by roman soldiers on the Mount of Olives at night. The Christ is standing centrally, handcuffed behind his back. A number of armed soldiers surround him, some pulling on ropes fastened to his body.
