Red leather bound volume, with gilt tooling and blue silk endpapers. Title on upper cover, 'Exhibition MDCCCLI Reports by the Juries' and V&A monogram. Spine with 4 raised bands and gilt tooling with title on spine, 'Exhibition MDCCCLI Jury Reports Vol. IV'. It contains sixty photographic plates and it is one of four volumes illustrated with original calotypes (salted paper prints), made by Claude-Marie Ferrier and Hugh Owen between September and November 1851.
