Photograph of a half-length portrait of Elizabeth, Queen of Bohemia (1596-1662). The sitter faces three-quarters to the left and looks towards the viewer. She wears an embroidered dress with slashed sleeves and laced ruff and cuffs. The outfit is accessorised with a feather hairpiece and a pearl earring.
At the time of the photograph, the painting was attributed to Gerrit van Honthorst (1590-1656) and was in the collection of Rer. W. H. King, Barra House, Largs, Ayrshire.
