Cundall writes that he is enclosing a list (see VIC/ADDA10/85/75a) of the pictures by Raphael exhibited at the British Institution, together with a letter (see VIC/ADDA10/85/76) from Lord Leicester's librarian. He has sent the photographs he took of the Raphaels at Holkham, including the best plate he could obtain of the cartoon of the 'Belle Jardinière', the latter to show how impossible it is to photograph. He adds that prints of his photographs of Lord Methuen's and Lord Althorp's pictures will soon be ready.
The Lord Althorp mentioned in this letter must be the 5th Earl Spencer, known as Viscount Althorp 1845-1857.
