JOSEPH CUNDALL (1819-95)

Letter from Joseph Cundall to Charles Ruland asking for instructions as to drawings to be photographed at Oxford and those belonging to Andrew Fountaine.

20 Aug 1861

Loose manuscript paper; mounted | 1 document (2 pages) (whole object) | RA VIC/ADDA10/85/192

Cundall asks for further instructions about the drawings to be photographed at Oxford, which Downes will undertake the following week. He expects all the work he is doing for the Prince Consort to be completed by early September. He reports that Andrew Fountaine has been to see him and has promised to allow his pictures to be photographed, which Cundall will do himself. All his present work will be on 12x10" glass plates; he asks Ruland to tell him if a larger size is required. The weather is now good for photography.
