Thompson writes that he will send Prince Albert a set of the photographs he has made of the Raphael drawings as soon as possible. He has found it difficult to get good negatives from some of them because of the yellowness of the paper, but hopes to complete them in about a week. He adds that he has asked for the Sappers' photographs from Varna to be sent to Becker.
