    A print after the so-called ‘Madonna del Passeggio’, a painting generally attributed to the workshop of Raphael after a design by the master (c.1518-20), currently on loan to National Gallery of Scotland, Edinburgh (inv. no. NGL 064.46) from the Duke of Sutherland Collection. The legend below the image indicates that the painting was then in the Stafford Gallery, London. Lettered with production details, title, dedication and dedicatee’s coat of arms.

    Showing the full-length Virgin holding the Christ Child with her left hand and putting her right on the head of the Infant John the Baptist, who approaches them on the left holding a cross staff, with St Joseph in the left middle-ground; in a landscape.
