A photograph of a sheet attributed to the studio of Raphael now in the Devonshire Collection, Chatsworth House (inv. no.724A).
The drawings on the Chatsworth sheet are generally reputed to be copies after original studies by Raphael. The drawing at lower centre is thought to be copied from a sheet currently in the Uffizi, Florence (inv. no.539E; see RCIN 850824 for a photograph of it), related to the so-called Esterházy Madonna (see RCIN 850719 for a photograph of the painting). The drawing at upper right is supposed to have been copied from a now lost study by Raphael for the Madonna del Granduca and now lost (see Bibliographic References).
