A facsimile etching of a drawing by Raphael (c.1507-08) now in the Uffizi, Florence (inv. no.539E; see RCIN 850824 for a photograph of it). Lettered with production details. Published in 'Scuola Italiana o sia Nuova Raccolta di Stampe a Forma di Disegni', Rome 1787, plate 23.

The drawing is a preparatory study for Raphael's so-called 'Esterházy Madonna’ (1508) now in the Szepmüvészeti Múzeum, Budapest (inv. no.71; see RCIN 850819 for a photograph of it).
