Stag shot by the Prince by the River at Feithort

Glass plate negative of a stag shot by Prince Albert (1819-61) by the river at Feithort. The stag is laid out on a grassy field. The stag weighed 17 stone 4 pounds.

The glass plate negative has been photographed showing the coated side and therefore the image appears laterally reversed. A print from this negative exists in the Collection, RCIN 2116998.
