Glass plate negative of a full length double portrait of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert. The queen stands and gazes downwards, placing one hand on the shoulder of Prince Albert. The prince is seated, holding a book in both hands, looking upwards at the queen.
The glass plate negative has been photographed showing the coated side and therefore the image appears laterally reversed. At least two prints from this negative exist in the Collection, RCINs 2907745 and 2914941.
