Glass plate negative of a full length portrait of Princess Beatrice standing, leaning against a balustrade. The princess poses with her back towards the camera and turns her head to the right, her face captured in profile. She wears a short-sleeved dress and a hairband trimmed with flowers. There is a small basket of flowers on top of the balustrade.
The glass plate negative has been photographed showing the coated side and therefore the image appears laterally reversed. At least two prints from this negative exist in the Collection, RCINs 2907758 and 2900350.
