Glass plate negative featuring two full-length portraits of Prince Louis standing. The prince faces the camera and turns his head slightly to the right. He holds a cane in one hand and a top hat in the other.

The glass plate negative has been photographed showing the coated side and therefore the image appears laterally reversed. Prints from this negative do not seem to exist in the Collection, however a variant from the same sitting, including his wife Princess Alice, is represented by RCIN 2900418.
