Glass plate negative of the effigy of Prince Albert (1819-61) by Baron Carlo Marochetti (RCIN 57169) on a platform truck. The effigy depicts the prince, recumbent on his back and bare headed. He wears two collars and the Robes of the Garter.
The glass plate negative has been photographed showing the coated side and therefore the image appears laterally reversed. Prints from this negative do not seem to exist in the Collection.
