Glass plate negative of a near full length portrait of Prince Albert. He is shown seated. The photograph may have been taken outdoors. 

The glass plate negative has been photographed showing the coated side and therefore the image appears laterally reversed. A hand-coloured print from this work exists in the Royal Collection, RCIN 2151448.
