Laddie and Miss
1854RCIN 2082437
Glass plate negative of Laddie and Miss, described as Queen Victoria's 'Scotch terriers'. The dogs are positioned against a brick wall at the Royal Kennels, Windsor. Laddie was born at Windsor in 1856 and Miss was bought in 1853.
The glass plate negative has been photographed showing the coated side and therefore the image appears laterally reversed. A print from this negative (RCIN 2105092) can be found in an album belonging to Queen Victoria.
