1854RCIN 2082435
Glass plate negative of Geary, described as Queen Victoria's 'Scotch terrier'. The dog is seated against a brick wall at the Royal Kennels, Windsor. Geary was bought in 1852 and died on 15 January 1861.
The glass plate negative has been photographed showing the coated side and therefore the image appears laterally reversed. A print from this negative (RCIN 2105094) can be found in an album belonging to Queen Victoria.
