Four Stags and a Roe shot by the Prince Consort

Glass plate negative of four stag heads and one roe deer head that were shot by the Prince Consort at Cromie Bray Glen Beg on the Balmoral estate, lying on the ground amongst stones and heather. In the background is trees and scrubland.
The glass plate negative has been photographed showing the coated side and therefore the image appears laterally reversed. A print from this negative exists in the Collection, RCIN 2117010.
