Glass plate negative of Peter, a black cat who lived in the Royal Stables. He is sitting on a ledge outside Buckingham Palace. A ribbon is tied around his neck.
The glass plate negative has been photographed showing the coated side and therefore the image appears laterally reversed. A print of this work exists in the Royal Collection, RCIN 2906237, also 2931482.
