Copy of a draft letter to the Horticultural Society from Albert, Prince of Wales, requesting, at Queen Victoria's behast, that the memorial to the Exhibition of 1851, planned for the Horticultural Gardens, should be surmounted by a statue of Prince Albert rather than her own as originally planned.
