Letter from William Russell to Charles Ruland concerning a drawing he has found, attributed to Marcantonio and related to Raphael's St Cecilia, which may be worth photographing for the Prince Consort's collection.

Russell writes that he has found a mislaid drawing, attributed to Marcantonio, of a figure in Raphael's St Cecilia, which may be worth photographing for the Prince Consort's Raphael Collection. He reports that the Keeper of the National Gallery, Mr Wornum, has lost his wife, but that Sir Charles Eastlake will be in charge of the Gallery during his absence, in case it is desired to complete the photography of the Perugino.
