Letter from William Hookham Carpenter, the Keeper of Prints and Drawings at the British Museum, to Dr Ernst Becker concerning photographs of the Raphael drawings in the museum.

Carpenter writes that he has consulted Mr Panizzi and that Becker may have unmounted photographs of the Raphael drawings in the British Museum at 3/6d each. He tells Becker to keep the list of the sale of the King of Holland's pictures for as long as he needs. He also gives Miss Woodburn's address [Miss Woodburn is Mary, the sister of the art dealer Samuel Woodburn] and states that there is no published engraving of Hayter's picture of the christening of the Prince of Wales.
