WILLIAM TINKER (1816-94)
Letter from W. Tinker to Dr. Ernst Becker stating that he has been unable to photograph the drawings in the Teyler Museum satisfactorily and wishes to wait for better weather.
28 Dec 1859Loose manuscript paper; mounted | 1 document (4 pages) (whole object) | RA VIC/ADDA10/85/498
Tinker writes that there have been only a few fine days since he received Becker's letter (see VIC/ADDA10/85/497), and that the rooms in the Teyler Museum are too dark and cold for him to photograph the drawings adequately. He therefore wishes to defer the work until the weather clears up.
