Prince Albert comments on Sir James Graham's reports regarding Ireland and refers to an impending crisis. He expresses his agreement with the dismissal of Lord [Charles Austin] Ffrench and [Daniel] O'Connell, and notes Lord De Grey's views on the unreliability of the militia. Prince Albert also mentions the 'disagreeable affair' in Manchester.
