MESSRS J. & F. HOWARD

Letter from Messrs. Howard to Carl Ruland

28 Oct 1861

Loose manuscript paper; mounted | 1 document (4 pages) (whole object) | RA VIC/MAIN/R/21/55

Letter from Messrs. Howard to Carl Ruland in response to the translated letter from Herr Gottstein (see VIC/MAIN/R/21/54). They apologise for any difficulty caused in working the cultivator but assert that the fault is with the engine and not the apparatus itself. They offer to send a 'competent person' to superintend the working of the cultivator in the spring.
