Letter from Lord Portman to Colonel Grey sending his thanks to himself and Prince Albert for the plan on the utilisation of sewage, which he offered to test on one of his own tanks. He also reports that having discussed the matter with Professor Way he has suggested the use of clay or charcoal for filtration instead of burnt clay.
