      Letter from Lord Palmerston to Prince Albert informing him that he will appoint Count Furnoe, Sir Edward Desbrowe, Sir Robert Gordon, Lord Howard de Walden and Alexander Malet the following day. He reports that he will communicate the Queen's orders about mourning the late Archduke Charles of Austria to the Lord Chamberlain.
