Lord Palmerston responds to Prince Albert's letter regarding the capture of St Jean d'Acre and refers to the 'reestablishment of friendly relations' between France and the 'four powers'. He mentions accompanying notes (not present) from Monsieur Guizot and Lord Granville, and makes reference to Baron Mounier and Baron de ?Bourguany.
