Letter from Lord Aberdeen to Prince Albert reporting on a conversation with the Count de St. Aulaire regarding the affairs of Switzerland and that he had assured him that no cause existed for the armed interference of any foreign power, including the United Kingdom. Aberdeen informs His Royal Highness that this may change if the peace of surrounding countries was to be threatened however he assures him that he 'will omit no opportunity of promoting the cause of peace'.
