Erskine reports that Dr. Ernst Becker's letter of 23 November (see VIC/ADDA10/85/537) has only just arrived, but that he has now delivered Becker's letter of thanks (VIC/ADDA10/85/536) and the diamond ring to Mr Grubb, together with the volume of photographs of drawings from Windsor intended for the Swedish Royal Museum. Mr Grubb was much gratified and letters of thanks will be sent. Erskine expresses his own gratitude for the Prince Consort's appreciation of his help.
