Letter from Carl Schmidt, from Coburg, to Dr. Ernst Becker telling him that Count Schönborn has agreed to allow the picture [by Raphael] from his gallery in which the Prince Consort is interested to be photographed for him.

Schmidt announces that Count Schönborn has returned from Hungary and is happy to allow the photographing of the [Raphael] picture from his Pommersfelden gallery for the Prince Consort, but he wishes to see a similar photograph by the chosen photographer first. Schmidt adds that a photographer named Ruheler [or Ruhrler] is coming to Bamberg, but he does not know whether the man has the necessary skill.
