A photograph of the recto of a drawing now in the Kunstmuseum in Düsseldorf (inv. no.F.P. 11r). The drawing is generally thought to be a preparatory study by Raphael for the fresco of The Coronation of Charlemagne, painted in the Stanza dell'Incendio in the Vatican in c.1516-17. The study connects with the group of bishops shown seated in the right foreground of the fresco.
