A photograph of a drawing by Giovanni Francesco Penni now in the Devonshire Collection, Chatsworth House (inv. no.175). The drawing is a preparatory study for the fresco of The Vision of the Cross, painted by Raphael's workshop on the east wall of the Sala di Costantino in the Vatican between 1520 and 1524.
