A photograph of a drawing by Raphael (c.1511-12) now in the Ashmolean Museum, Oxford (inv. no.WA1846.198r). The studies connect with the figure of the kneeling woman painted in the left foreground of Raphael's fresco of The Expulsion of Heliodorus from the Temple, executed in 1511-12 in the Stanza di Eliodoro in the Vatican. The drawing was engraved in facsimile by F.C. Lewis for Ottley's School of Italian Design, 1823. An impression can be found at RCIN 852692.
