A set of fifteen prints reproducing heads of some of the figures depicted in Raphael's fresco of 'The School of Athens', painted in c.1509-10 in the Stanza della Segnatura in the Vatican. Each print is lettered with production details and identification of the figure represented. The prints were published in 'Raccolta delle teste dei filosofi, dei Poeti, colle nove Muse ed Apollo, e di altri uomini illustri dipinti da Raffaelle nella Scuola d'Atene e nel Parnasso al Vaticano', a series engraved by a number of different artists after designs by Luigi Agricola.
