An etching by Pietro Santi Bartoli reproducing, in reverse, the almost entirely destroyed fresco God's Covenant with Noah painted by the workshop of Raphael (c.1517-19) in the basamento of the third bay of the Raphael Loggia in the Vatican. Lettered with Bible quotation in Latin (Genesis 9). Signed with Bartoli's monogram (see Nagler, IV, no.3308) and numbered on plate at lower right: 3. Trimmed within platemark. Published in Imagines veteris ac novi Testamenti in Vaticani Palatii (1675).

According to Dacos (see Bibliographic References), the basamento paintings of the Raphael Loggia in the Vatican were executed in grisaille and imitated bronze reliefs.
