A facsimile of a drawing now in the Ashmolean Museum, Oxford (inv. no.WA1846.138). Lettered with title and production details. Published in W.Y. Ottley's Italian School of Design, London 1823.

The drawing is connected with the composition of Moses before the Burning Bush, designed by Raphael and painted in the vault of the Stanza di Eliodoro in the Vatican. The authorship of the drawing (currently attributed to Raphael, but formerly ascribed to Peruzzi) is subject of much debate. For a photograph of the drawing, and further discussion see RCIN 852766.
