A lithograph after the fresco of God separating Land from Sea painted by the workshop of Raphael (c.1517-19) in the vault of the first bay of the Raphael Loggia in the Vatican. Lettered with names of Raphael and Ludwig Gruner below image. Published in Scripture prints from the frescoes of Raphael in the Vatican. Edited by Lewis Gruner. With an introductory preface by the Rev. Charles H.H. Wright, London 1866.
Passavant (see Bibliographic References) noted that the lithographs in this publication, made from drawings by Nicola Consoni (1814-84) of the frescoes, were made 'in the manner of woodcuts'.
