A photograph of a drawing now in the Biblioteca Reale, Turin (inv. no.DC. 15749). The drawing corresponds with Agostino Veneziano's engraving of A Young Man near an Altar (see RCIN 852572), although in reverse and with a few omissions in the foreground. The figure of the warrior in Agostino's engraving is derived from Raphael's figure of Alcibiades in the School of Athens (or from a preliminary study for that figure). Passavant (1860) mentioned a drawing of this figure as in the collection of Isaac Walraven in Amsterdam in 1765.
