A photograph of one of the Pope's litter-bearers from Raphael's fresco of The Expulsion of Heliodorus from the Temple, painted in 1511-12 in the Stanza di Eliodoro in the Vatican.

The figure was described by Vasari as the portrait of Marcantonio Raimondi and this identification has been generally accepted ever since.
