Etching | 28.9 x 44.2 cm (sheet of paper) | RCIN 852433

A reversed facsimile etching of a drawing currently in the Musée du Louvre, Paris (inv. no.3884 v). Lettered with artists' names within image. Numbered at top left: 13.

The Louvre drawing is thought to be a copy of a compositional study by Raphael (now lost), preparatory for the lower left-hand group in the Disputa (The Disputation of the Holy Sacrament) painted in the Stanza della Segnatura in the Vatican between 1508 and 1511. A photograph of the drawing can be found at RCIN 852437.
