A facsimile of a drawing now in the Gabinetto Disegni e Stampe degli Uffizi, Florence (inv. no.1216E). Trimmed to image on all sides. Published in 'Disegni originali d'eccellenti pittori esistenti nella reale galleria di Firenze', Florence 1766, plate 69.
The Uffizi drawing is generally considered a copy by the workshop of Raphael of a highly finished modello by the master now in the Louvre, Paris (inv. no.3863) for the tapestry cartoon of 'Christ's Charge to Peter'. A photograph of the Louvre drawing can be found at RCIN 853047.
