Tapestries

Most notably the tapestries Raphael designed for the Sistine Chapel

These portfolios primarily contain prints and photographs relating to Raphael’s designs for tapestries for the Sistine Chapel, the seven surviving large-scale cartoons for which are on loan from the Royal Collection to the Victoria & Albert Museum. There are smaller groups of material concerning the Scuola Nuova tapestries and other tapestry designs associated with Raphael.
