An engraving after a design by Raphael connected with the painting of 'St Michael Vanquishing Satan' now in the Musée du Louvre, Paris (inv. no.610; see RCIN 851490). Signed with engraver's monogram on a stone at lower left: SR.
Scholarship is divided as to whether the engraving by Marco Dente was made after the original design, or was based upon the print of the same subject by Agostino Veneziano, an impression of which can be found at RCIN 851628.
