An engraving after a design by Raphael connected with the painting of 'St Michael Vanquishing Satan' now in the Musée du Louvre, Paris (inv. no.610; see RCIN 851490). Only state; signed on plate with engraver's monogram at lower centre: A.V.
Scholarship is divided as to whether the engraving by Veneziano was made after the original design, or based upon the print of the same subject by Marco Dente da Ravenna, an impression of which can be found at RCIN 851629.
